Shri Jagdish Das Shah (JDS) continues to be a guiding force in Varanasi’s business community.Before founding Virat Estates, he nurtured the legacy of Jagdish Das & Company(1913) a name that is synonymous with the timeless artistry of Banarasi sarees. Under his stewardship, the enterprise flourished, earning respect across India for its craftsmanship, heritage, and authenticity.
Beyond textiles, his vision expanded into real estate where his 36 years in corporate governance reflected a commitment to building enterprises that were rooted in familial trust, excellence, and community upliftment.
